Sustainable production and consumption

Every action that optimizes resources and closes loops is a step toward a more conscious circular economy, where we are all part of the change.

Introduction

A set of actions that contribute to the transition from a linear to a circular development model: preventing the generation of waste, byproducts, and leaks; reincorporation into other production processes; improving efficiency and closing the cycles of materials, water (see Water and Biodiversity), and energy (see Climate Change); and business models to increase efficiency in production and consumption.

Optimizing resource use in activities for the provision of public services, influencing the practices of EPM Group People, suppliers, and contractors, and guiding behavioral changes among customers and users are all possibilities for the EPM Group.

Photovoltaic solar panels at headquarters, raising awareness among contractors and employees, improving waste separation at source, utilizing organic matter for composting, and establishing agreements for the use of pruning waste are all contributions of the EPM Group to the circular economy and SDG 12.
